As some of you may have noticed, it’s been quite a while since I have been actively fostering, blogging, and updating. I have been away for a couple months doing the travelin’ thing and thus had to put my volunteering life on hold. My vacation was amazing, but, as always during the winter months, my heart ached to get back home into the swing of things again.
I arrived back in PA late last weekend, eager to start fostering, and picked up an adorable little Chihuahua mix named Miss Peach yesterday. I wanted to make sure that my pack had some time to decompress from all the excitement of travelling the past couple months (yep, all 4 of my dogs came along on the journey) and didn’t want to stress them out too much. Miss Peach is definitely the perfect ‘ease back into’ things kinda dog.
She’s playful, sweet, silly, and laid back. She’s interested in my dogs, but isn’t overbearing and loves to just lay on the couch and watch them. She is a shy girl but also curious enough to do some exploring around the house. Most times Miss peach is curled up on my lap, just napping away. I’ll have more pictures and info up on her soon, so stay tuned! (be sure to check out my instagram page for daily photos)
On another note, while I was away I received a few updates about some previous foster dogs. Their awesome parents shared a bunch of photos and stories with me, making me smile and laugh quite a bit as I read through them. It is so great to hear about their new lives and adventures with their families. I promise I will work on getting those updates posted soon!
