How Sweet It Is : A Rudy Update!

Rudolph has been pretty busy over the past couple weeks. Between soaking up love from his parents, enjoying playtime with his brother, learning to be a well behaved gentleman, and getting lots of attention from everyone he meets…this guy is certainly living the dream! His Mom, Kate, recently sent me an update with some adorable photos. I can tell that Rudy is very comfortable and happy in his new home. He’s in great hands with awesome parents who have been taking time to train Rudy, helping him adjust and become part of the family.

“Hi Deb,

Rudy is happy, healthy and settling in quite well to his new home.  He slept in our bed from the very first night and with every day he gets more and more comfortable.  We wanted to keep his name so he wouldn’t get confused, so we settled on Rudy Ruettiger so we could give him a chant…. Rudy, Rudy, Rudy! He’s getting a better feel for his name and we have been working nightly on his “homework”, including laydown and drop it. And man, does he love his brother! Gordon serves as constant playmate, teacher and occasional launching pad as he jumps over him to get a flying tennis ball.  We typically bring Gordon to work each day so we hope to try Rudy in the office soon.  We plan to give it a try next week and we will let you know how it goes!

Thank you for giving us a chance to give Rudy the home he deserves.  He’s been a great addition to our family and we hope for many more years of fun to come.

Rudy has his own movie inspired chant…how awesome is that?! As you can see in the pic above, he has actually already joined his parents at work. Not only is he a big hit there, but he seems to enjoy helping Mom out!
